Residential rooftops commissioned
Net metering credits offset bills
Paperwork & portal submission
DISCOM & MNRE compliant
An on-grid system connects your rooftop solar to the utility grid through a bidirectional (net) meter. When your system generates more than you consume, surplus units are exported to the grid and credited on your bill. At night or on cloudy days, you draw power from the grid normally.
Eligible households can receive Central Financial Assistance (CFA) for rooftop systems when applying via the official National Portal and installing through an empanelled vendor. Jashsun provides complete assistance—from registration to commissioning documents and subsidy disbursal support.
Register on the National Portal for Rooftop Solar.
Select your State and DISCOM, submit consumer details.
Choose an empanelled vendor (Jashsun can be your executing partner), complete site survey & technical feasibility.
Install the system, complete inspection & net meter formalities with DISCOM.
Upload commissioning documents and bank details for subsidy processing.
Shading analysis, capacity sizing, structural checks, detailed BOQ, and drawings per MNRE & DISCOM standards.
National Portal registration, documentation, vendor empanelment mapping, and milestone uploads.
Application, single-line diagrams, inspections, and coordination with your DISCOM until meter installation.
MNRE-compliant modules/inverters, earthing & protection, quality mounting, safety & performance testing.
Commissioning report, manuals, warranty packs, training on app/monitoring and O&M..
AMC options, periodic health checks, cleaning schedules, remote monitoring & support.
Lower bills : Net metering credits offset your consumption.
Government support : Central subsidy via PM Surya Ghar (subject to rules).
Scalable : Start small, expand later (subject to DISCOM limits).
Reliable : Use the grid at night or when solar is low.
Low maintenance : No moving parts; long performance warranties.
Sunlight generates DC power in modules.
On-grid inverter converts DC to AC synchronized with grid.
Home loads consume solar power first; excess exports to the grid.
Net meter records import/export; bill shows net usage/credits.
Jashsun handles your DISCOM application, drawings, inspections, and the bidirectional meter installation schedule. Timelines and requirements vary by state/DISCOM. We keep you updated at every step.
Bidirectional meter (or smart meter) installation & sealing
Energy accounting & monthly crediting per DISCOM policy
Safety compliance: earthing, SPD, isolators, protection testing
Periodic cleaning and annual health checks. Our AMC covers preventive maintenance & remote monitoring.
Standard on-grid systems shut down during outages for safety (anti-islanding). For backup, add a hybrid inverter + battery.
Capacity depends on your average monthly units and roof area. As a thumb rule, 1 kW produces ~4 units/day (location dependent). We’ll size it after a quick audit.
Typical 2–10 kW homes finish in ~2–7 days on-site, with net-meter approvals adding extra time based on DISCOM.
